Local issues in Bradgate Heights

[07/02/2010 | No comment]

On 4th February I attended a meeting of the Bradgate Heights Residents Association. It was very helpful to hear about the issues people living here are concerned about, including improving street lighting, sorting out car parking in the area, and making sure the drainage system is safe and effective. The City Council has already adopted parts of the Bradgate Heights area (this basically means taking on responsibility for issues like maintaining the roads and lighting) and plans to adopt the whole area within the next 12 months or so. If you live in Bradgate Heights and would like to raise any issues or concerns with me, please do ring or email – see the ‘Get in Touch’ section for more details.
