Tory-Liberal Budget will hit poorest hardest
Last week was my first Budget as Leicester West’s MP. The measures George Osborne announced will affect the lives of people in Leicester West for years to come, and determine the economic and political direction of the country.
The Tory-Liberal Government says its Budget was unavoidable, will boost growth and jobs, and is fair. None of these claims stand up to scrutiny.
