Liz holds meeting in Parliament on children’s heart unit

[04/07/2017 | No comment]

On 4th July I held a meeting in Parliament with MPs and senior staff from University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust to discuss the future of Glenfield children’s heart surgery unit and the next steps in our campaign to save this excellent service.

We will be writing to the Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, and NHS Chief Executive, Simon Stevens, demanding answers on key issues relating to NHS England’s plans. It’s essential that people keep responding to the public consultation before the deadline on 17 July, so their views are heard loud and clear. You can respond here.
