NHS Check – tell us your experiences
At the last election, David Cameron promised the NHS would be safe in his hands. He ruled out a top-down re-organisation, promised to protect the front-line and halt closures of A&Es and maternity units. One by one, he’s broken all of his promises.
Patients are already paying the price for the Conservative and Liberal Democrat Government’s wasteful back-office NHS re-organisation, with thousands of nursing posts getting cut and waiting times on the rise.
My Labour colleagues and I fought hard in Westminster to get the Government to drop their risky plans, but they rammed them through despite the overwhelming opposition from us, the public and medical professions. Now we are determined to hold the Prime Minister to account for the extra strain he’s putting on the NHS and its staff. To do this, we need your help in telling us what’s happening on the front line.
That’s why we’ve launched NHS Check – a website where people can report to us the impact of David Cameron’s damaging changes and help us expose what’s really happening in the NHS.
Whether you have been a patient, you know a patient or you work in the NHS or other local care services – please click here to tell us about your experiences. Your input will help us hold the Government to account for their reckless actions, and to protect our NHS.
